Out of curiosity, why was this page and its accompanying subpage deleted and then immediately remade? Were there malicious edits that needed to be covered up, or was it something else? --Emufarmers 02:37, 10 July 2006 (PDT)

Well, no, you're certainly not required to justify changes you make to your userpage. However, deletions of userpages are an administrative action, and usually include at least "requested by user" in the deletion description. (Non-administrators have as much right to know the reason for a page's deletion as administrators do, generally, by the way. I don't get to see the content of a deleted page without requesting it, but any user has the right to be supplied with a valid reason for a page's deletion. My attributing it to "curiosity" was my trying to be polite, rather than just saying, "why was this page deleted without explanation?" Your reason is perfectly valid [even just saying that it was a private matter would have sufficed if you wished]; there's no need to get testy over others' mild inquiries.) --Emufarmers 21:21, 10 July 2006 (PDT)
