Ship images

Is there any specific reason why you uploaded several images of random ships to the wiki? All have been proposed for deletion (I believe). --Whitemonkey 13:33, 12 November 2006 (PST)

I was not aware that it was undesired. There are images of every colored pet and every color of familiar yet none of ships. I felt that people might like the opportunity to see painted ships as well. If it is a hosting issue i could find my own hosting, however for now do what you see appropriate.

Ship images are much larger than the ones for familiars. The main deck image of a grand frigate is large enough to contain the images of all familiar combinations. Now repeat that for all grand frigate color combinations and you can see the problem. Also, players can use a paint brush to preview ship colors, but there is no way to preview familiar combinations. (Some contests let the winners choose a familiar with a color of their choice.) --Barrister 15:35, 12 November 2006 (PST)

The bottom line really is that the pictures just aren't that useful, especially considering their gigantic size. We already have screenshots that show every pixel of every type of ship on the seas, and as there are 18 colours to begin with, there are 324 possible colour combinations.
