The Monthly Familiar Puzzle Competitions are a series of ongoing puzzle competitions with colored familiars available as prizes which began in May 2009. At the start of each month, the schedule is posted in the official thread. The competitions have included individual competitions in all duty puzzles except battle navigation and treasure haul and all crafting puzzles, as well as some multi-puzzle competitions, often with tan familiars as the prize in the individual puzzles. The color and type of familiar prize is always announced in advance.
