"you get a puzzle with 4 circles interlinked by one piece and make the circles 4-12 pieces per bucket circle then have each bucket contain a certain piece amount or number, each piece would contain plus or minus. the aim would be to get a bucket to have a set number to aim for. such as the top left bucket being 3 and having the 4 pieces in it add up to 3 in total, for example +2 +4 -1 -2. since each bucket has its own amount you would be able to get combos by getting more then 1 bucket completed at a time. the pieces would turn like in dnav and the circles would have one piece connected to another circle and one piece in the center as an optional piece to insure all 4 buckets could be cleared at the same time. hitting a pour button would finish the puzzle, it could be timed per bucket for pour so it would spill or be emptied properly. adding to the amount of pieces per bucket would increase the difficulty. there could possibly be a red outline for easy level to help show successful buckets and it would not be there when it gets harder, or it would stay if needed to confirm each bucket completed before pouring. the completed bucket or buckets would be filled with new numbers, while the old buckets would keep theirs. having this would add a math based puzzle for puzzle pirates and a secondary puzzle for bilge to complete the 2 puzzle scheme of jobbing jobs. the optional pieces in the center of buckets would specifically allow for non functional amounts to be stopped. using the linked numbers would allow for 2 circles to use the same number making it so you can change the sum of one's total amount without changing the current circles amount, because as you turn the circle its total stays the same and the 2 linked circles total changes because of the linked number. the optional numbers and the linked numbers allow the computer to generate relatively random numbers without making it impossible to complete all 4 buckets. you could switch the optional piece in the center of buckets with either only one specific spot for a more challenging puzzle or freely with all of that specific bucket's pieces if adding the amount of pieces per bucket makes it challenging enough. having it be any of the bucket's pieces would require pulling the center piece to the outer bucket's piece to switch them
