Dansel is a fairly respected, and respectful pirate based out of the Cobalt Ocean. His journey began in February of 2005, and his first major crew allegience was to Pyrates under the leadership of Redtony. While seeking to find his place in Cobalt, Dansel fought through times of much controversy. While allying himself to Captnsilver, they formed the crew Anart abh bas Armada... and quickly built a strong foundation with pirates such as Shinner, Raina, Kazbo, Bigboyatitd, Gesus, Topdogman, Mary, Pukeface and Kevinthefrui. From this solid base of a #1 crew, they then decided to unite a number of smaller crews in order to resist the alliances of experieced pirates that originally hailed from Midnight and were quickly sweeping through most of Cobalt. Tide of Fate was a flag born in March of 2005 and quickly rose to #1 fame, with Dansel in the position of King.
Unfortunately, the Tide would not stay in for long... and inexperience took a toll on the young flag. A mutiny led by Fishknife over a difference of opinion toward a blockade on Dendrite Island forced Tide of Fate to crumble, and caused Dansel to seek a heitus throughout the summer of 2005.
With new life breathed into him, Dansel once again seeked enjoyment in the presence of friends. By turning to a former SO named Shinner, and an opening at SO with the crew of The Royal Armada, it seemed like the perfect place for him to do such. Under the leadership of Ramone, Dansel spent the next few months assisting his crew and Flag of No Quarter Given into preparing for an ill-fate blockade of Olive Island. A continuous war between Hydrophobia and No Quarter Given forced Dansel to temporarilly seek refuge with Black Horizon, under the flag of Hurricane. This decision came after meeting a jobber from that crew during the Olive blockade, named Charisma... a pirate who he would remain friends with, and have a continuous history. After remaining with Black Horizon for a month, a faction was split from them, into a crew named Imperial Pillagers who were seeking less "drama" within the game. After refusing him a position within their crew, Dansel then turned back to No Quarter Given for friendship. Oddly enough, a similar faction named Neptune's Chosen had broken off of The Royal Armada, and opened an opportunity of assistance as a position of First Mate. Neptune's Chosen, led by Mystyk, was a crew looking for an identity... although there was much talent in the likes of Captnsilver, Roots, Mooney, Sexylele and Jacaranda, it seemed as if NC was destined for dormancy. Soon enough after finding meaning, Neptune's Chosen flourished with great pirates such as Anklespanker, Hedda, Pink, Wyvernn, Ivorytusk, Exhaltation, Darksmell, Affinity, Mitki, Badgerpie, Guppygurl, Arlith, Saylam and more... The great personality and fun lving adventures soon drew the best from The Royal Armada to them. Noxx, Kuroshiro, Kura, Sasafrastree and Suzannah helped round out the talent taken from TRA, and a merger with Pyrates brough phenominal talents such as Brutoz, Sochi, Alis, and Yocoprncs into the mix. A difference of opinion led to No Quarter Given being briefly disbanded, and quickly gathered together once again with the exception of Neptune's Chosen, who found a new home in the midst of Imperial Margarine.
IM was a new flag, based on a non-political idea, and led by Foilistc and Charisma... but the feeling of exclusion led to the departure of Neptune's Chosen after an extended stay... into the newest home of Polaris. Dansel's stay in Neptune's Chosen would soon come to an end though, when blood proved to be thicker than water and a need to stick by his brother's side resulted in the formation of Pirates Get More Booty. Although he still remains friends with most in NC, and would prefer to keep an alternate name of Everlong within their midst in the event that they may need his assistance.
PGMB is mostly, but not exclusively a crew of Cobalt's most talented united together in order to relate with each other and share in overwhelming splendors. This is Dansel's current home, and with the leadership of Anklespanker, and the support of Fliss, Hedda, Delicious, Kura, Yuff, Kevinthefrui, Badgerpie and Affinity there are no plans for slowing down.
With the expansion of their crew, and the severing of Mysterium from TRA... the Flag of Deep Barnacle was formed in April of 2006. Based on the morals of trust and sharing of fun and knowledge, this flag plans on a long life with very few problems. It is not certain yet of it's fate, but can only hope that the newest leaders of The Royal Armada and Neptune's Chosen are as craving a union under one flag again as much as they are...
Dansel currently enjoys relaxing with friends on the long beaches of Cobalt, and striving for optimal results within himself as well as his crew and flag. Although nowhere near perfect, he takes pleasure in knowing that he is one of the most dedicated and honorable pirates in Cobalt, and his knoledge of the game is ever growing. Priding himself as an expert in all piracies and most other puzzles, Dansel enjoys gunning and b-navving the most and never passes up the opportunity to plug some holes in an awaiting prey. His most recent accomplishments are by far the relationships that he has been able to repair, by admission of his own faults to misunderstandings with pirates such as Gothmog, Av, and Psychox. Dansel has made many mistakes in his life as a pirate, but is the always looking for forgiveness and understanding so that there are no lasting hard feelings towards anyone that he may encounter, and is also always seeking new friendships...
