- Parodies Lost (14th) - Produce a piratey parody of a children's rhyme or song.
- Expanding the Inventory (15th) - Design the image for a new in-game item. It can be anything you like - clothing, weapon, mug, animal, potion, trinket, furniture, or indeed something completely new.

- Return to Cento (18th) - Create a cento using only holiday poems and songs as your source material.

- Thank Fuzzy It's Friday (22nd) - Write a Warm Fuzzy letter to someone who's made a real personal impact on you. (This doodle was for Warm Fuzzy purposes only, so there were no winners. Or everyone was a winner.)
- Labor Day (28th) - Design an OM labor-saving device of some kind to help with their workload. A device does not have to be a physical object - it might be, but might also be a process, for example.
- Weekend Voguing fun (30th & 31st) - Create a picture of a pirate (your own or someone else's) strutting their stuff on catwalk or at a photoshoot. Design the set, design the outfit, strike the pose. You can make use of screenshots or in-game art in your picture if you wish, or you can create the whole lot from scratch.
2007
- Barfly, Scrapper, Fencer, Doodler? (1st - 2nd) - Design a trophy that represents the Doodles in some way.
- Doodle December (3rd) - Using Artpad draw a picture depicting December.

- Brigand things (7th) - Write three pieces of news a brigand king might post on an island they control.
- There's always room for the second weekend (8th - 9th) - Create something with Jell-o.

- Captain Clause (13th) - Draw a picture featuring a piratified Santa Claus or a piratified snowman.
- Isle of You (14th) - In 400 words or fewer, write about your favorite island in the game, and why you like it.
- Fair Windows (15th - 16th) - Make a stained glass window picture that the light can shine through.
- Present Plans (17th) - Write a limerick about a gift that your pirate is hoping to receive over the holidays.

- Moving Pictures (19th) - Choose a movie poster, and alter it to make it relevant either to pirates or to fish or to both.
- Questions, Questions (21st) - Choose a Ringer to interview (could be Developer, Arrtist, Oceanmaster, as you wish), you should choose a setting or location for the interview, and you should write up to 7 questions to ask during the interview.
- Dead Letter Oodle (24th) - Take a sensible phrase, relating to the game, and change one letter in the phrase to change the meaning (add one letter, remove one letter, or change one letter), and illustrate that new phrase.
- Christmas Presence (25th) - Make a collage. A collage is (essentially) a two-dimensional picture, but rather than drawing or painting, you use areas or layers of different materials, so the whole is like a textured picture. The materials are your choice.
- The Doodle Doodle (26th) - Here is a doodle. Incorporate this doodle in a line drawing. You can draw anything you like, but the doodle should be visible and whole within your drawing.
- The Meaning of Liff (28th) - Produce "The Y!PP Meaning of Liff", where you will be using island names from any ocean as words to describe common feelings or objects relating to the game.
2008
- It's Not Christmas Until Noddy Says It Is (24th) - Record your own version of "Merry Xmas Everyone", and let everyone around you know that it's Christmas. (Note that the Yoosing link does not work, but you might be able to find the track elsewhere).
- Snow, PoE, or YoHoHo! (30th) - Your task is to write a single Limerick. The Limerick must mention one of the following items: snow (or wintery weather of some kind), PoE (or some other form of currency) or YoHoHo (or something else from a piratey song). You may include more than one of these elements if you wish, but you only need to include one to meet the requirements.
2009
- Slick as a Parrot! (24th) - Think back to a present you've received in the past that hasn't quite been what you expected or wanted. Or think forward, with trepidation, to a particularly awful present you may receive over the next week or two. I would then like you to come up with 5 alternative uses for the gift.
- Sitting Duckfish (28th) - Today I would like you to suggest renames for my ships! Your suggestions can be based on Apollo's mythology, generic game references, or something tailored more specifically to me.
2011
- Highs and Hopes (1st) - The task for today is to draw a picture on ArtPad which must represent TWO things - first, something that you are happy or grateful for that has happened in 2011, and second, something that you hope or wish will happen in 2012.
- Ornament Adornment II:Hera (3rd - 4th) - Your weekend doodle task is to make a Christmas ornament that can be hung on a Christmas tree. The ornament you create must relate in some way to Puzzle Pirates. How you make your ornament is completely up to you. It can be sewn, molded, drawn, sculpted, carved, stuffed, baked, glued - anything! You just need to be able to hang it on a Christmas tree once you have finished.
- Apollo-ic Acrostic (5th) - No matter how many helpers he shares the hosting with, December Daily Doodles are all about Apollo! Send the Sunny One a special message by composing an Acrostic rhyming verse.
- The Doodle Side: Bia (24th - 25th) - For the weekend doodle, you're to make a Puzzle Pirate themed single panel comic, in the vein of The Far Side.
2012
- Edible sculptures! (8th) - Your task is to create one of the following objects from food: a Santa, a snowman, or a candle.
- I should NOT have said that! (11th) - Your task is to list the top five things you wouldn't want to have just said when you notice an OM has just joined you.
- Holiday Art! (18th) - Your task is to alter a famous painting to make it more of a jolly holidays piece.
- Summer Christmas! (22nd) - Your task is to write a summer-themed parody of a well known Christmas or winter song in honor of those celebrating the holidays in the southern hemisphere.
- doodlio ergo sum (25th) - Your task is to make either an ancient Roman object, or a dinosaur, out of holiday packaging and wrapping paper.
2013
- That's Cracy Talk! (4th) - Your task today is to decide the basis on which the world of Puzzle Pirates should be governed, and describe roughly how power would be assigned and used; you may also want to include your reasoning for why this would be a good choice for Puzzle Pirates!
- Lolcats (8th) - Your task today is to create a lolcat with a caption that has some obvious reference to a duty puzzle (sailing, rigging, patching, carpentry, bilging, gunning, duty navigation or treasure haul).
- MochaspressoLatteParty (11th) - I would like you please to make me a Nice Hot Cup Of Tea. Without the water. Or heat. And I want it to be pretty. Let's start again. I want you to use Nice Hot Drink ingredients to create some piratey art. You should have a plain background and you can use any dry powder or granule substance from the following list as long as it is some shade on the white/cream/brown scale!
- NaDoDoMo (15th) - Today I would like you to celebrate NaDoDoMo - National Doodle Doing Month - by designing a T-shirt for the month.
- Poster Vandalism (22nd) - Your task for this doodle is to take a movie poster, and to edit it to change the theme. You should take the original poster design, and adapt it to make it relevant either to pirates, or to turtles, or to both.
- Community Singing (25th) - Your task for this doodle is to choose a Christmas/festive/winter song, round up some helpers (if possible), and record an enthusiastic and piratified performance of the song.
- 2014 (29th) - I would like you please to commemorate the New Year by creating an exuberant homage to 2014. Ideally, I would like you to make me some kind of physical creation. However, if you are unable to do so, I will also accept computer-created entries, written entries, and performance entries, including interpretative dance. Your theme MUST be 2014, and this must be very literal. If you create a physical object of some kind, it should essentially be the numerals 2014.
2014
- Edible Ornaments (4th) - Your task today is to create a seasonal ornament from food, and it must be piratey or resembling an in-game item.
- Deceiving Present (11th) - Draw one image of a wrapped item (OMG bicycle shape!) and then an X-ray view, revealing what's actually in it (something completely different). The wrapped item can resemble anything you want but it should make sense with the X-ray vision view.
- T'was the Night B'farrr Christmas*... (18th) - Write the lesser-known pirate version of the poem, "A Visit from St. Nicholas"[3], beginning with the words, "T'was the night b'farrr Christmas..." (or whichever festive winter holiday you're writing about).
- North Pole Fatalities (22nd) - This doodle's task is to provide what you think might have been the best Famous Last Words ever uttered at the North Pole and then to draw your depiction of the scene that might have caused those words to be uttered.
2016
- X-marks-the-spot Mosaic! (27th) - Using all the Xmas non-edible left-overs you can find (wrapping paper, tissue paper, napkins, cards, ribbons, chocolate wrappings - anything that is flat and can be cut down to small pieces and glued to create a mosaic), create a treasure map showing where you have buried yer holiday loot!
2017
- Bottle Cap Baubles! (28th) - Your task for this doodle is to upcycle bottle caps into Xmas decorations with a YPP theme. I don't just want one decoration, I want three. They don't need to be the same, they can be constructed in different ways but displayed together they should reflect some aspect of YPP. For example: powder, wad and shot would be three different decorations coming together to reflect the art of gunning.
