Here are our rules of conduct Abord our ships
How To Behave on A Ship Before Jobbing with any crew you should always read the crew info and see what they are paying, also you should look to see if they have any requirements of what they expect while on board their ships.
While Aboard our ship we ask that you do not ask to gun, we will already have someone covering guns, if we don’t we will ask for someone who has master or better to speak up. The same goes for doing the navigating puzzle (not battle navigating – we will take care of that)
We also request that you do not ask every 2 mins when we will port or divide the booty, Dividing the booty can ONLY be done at port (that means not at sea), and we will port when we are ready. This also covers asking, “when do I get paid?�? See above.
As far as doing duty puzzle Bilge, Carp, or Sails, we ask that once on your station to please stay on task, do not keep hopping off, unless your puzzle freezes then go ahead and jump off and back on the puzzle. Please understand that the gun puzzler sometimes needs to restart and that is why they are abandoning their duty a lot.
Last but not least, this holds true for just about every crew out there…
DO NOT LEAVE DURRING BATTLE!!! This can and usually does leave the crew short handed and can cause us to lose that battle which means YOU get less booty because we lost the battle, we lose booty, and we will dock your pay for leaving in battle (which could mean you will get no pay from us)
If you continually are off task (lazing about) we will be forced to plank you! You get only one warning before planking, so we will ask you to do something, warn you, then plank you!
One other thing if you tell a Officer “NO�? when we ask you to do something you better have a real good reason on the same chat line or you will get the plank, and at that time the officer in charge may plank you if they don’t like your reason…
