The Manhattan Projects is a left-facing pirate hall on Eta Island. Redshadow of Dies Irae erected and named it in May 2010 and was previously named Manhattan Project.
The Manhattan Projects continues the basic Eta Island naming scheme of scientific related terms or puns. However it breaks with the tradition of naming all housing units on Eta Island after an element from the periodic table of elements.
The name Manhattan Project refers to the codename for a project conducted during World War II to develop the first atomic bombs for wartime use. It is also a pun on the term The Projects which refers to low incoming housing in New York.
