Why substituting?
Why should this template be substituted? In my opinion the resulting code is mildly confusing and distracts from the discussion. Also changes to this template don't get propagated if substitution is used. On wikipedia the discussion about that topic brought up only "server load" as argument - not very convincing to me. --Alfwyn 23:28, 16 December 2009 (UTC)
