7th 6th Parameter
Maps usually include a 7th unused parameter carrying the spawn information. Why is that information duplicated on every map? Is anything (some PDF map generating thing) using that information? --Alfwyn 00:02, 6 March 2010 (UTC)
- What seventh parameter? I only count six. --Belthazar451 08:27, 6 March 2010 (UTC)
- Err, thanks. Still the sixth parameter seems to be used only to set the title for a <div> with no content. One could probably use it in conjunction with matching CSS definitions to do something spiffy, but is it actually used for something? Because putting the spawn information into all the maps is quite a bit of information duplication and probably the data found on Hunter/Malachite maps isn't too accurate because changes to spawns on the island articles weren't propagated. --Alfwyn 21:57, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
- The sixth parameter makes mouse-over text. Not sure why it's used for spawns, but that's what it does. --Belthazar451 00:18, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
- Hm, in a very incompatible way. It works in my Firefox, it does nothing with my Mozilla and it displays the mouseover text in a tiny region before it displays the image name as mouseover for my IE. But thanks, I think I know now what it should achieve. --Alfwyn 15:10, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
