I've petitioned an OM to try to get an official position on this, but it would seem to violate Section 6.1 of the TRToS, "Restrictions. You agree not to do any of the following prohibited actions: reproduce, distribute, publicly display or perform, translate, modify, adapt, create derivative works from, deconstruct, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble in any manner Yohoho! or any portion thereof, including but not limited to any character, graphic, associated software or proprietary communications protocol used by the software or any utilities, applications, emulators or tools derived therefrom;" --Captain N 22:48, 26 October 2006 (PDT)
- I received prior permission. --AtteSmythe 22:51, 26 October 2006 (PDT)
- Ahh, understood. I didn't mean for this to be a personal thing and hope that you understand that. It does/did seem to be in violation of ToS, but permission granted would make sense for why this has been allowed. Captain N 22:56, 26 October 2006 (PDT)
- You're right, and I should probably put some sort of notice there. Sorry for being terse - I'm actually pillaging atm. ;) --AtteSmythe 23:02, 26 October 2006 (PDT)
- Well, despite my question of whether or not this article should be deleted, I find the program rather interesting. For the reason of that it states not to remove the CFD notice I haven't done so, but I'm sure it won't be. Captain N 23:09, 26 October 2006 (PDT)
- I'll get it, then. ;) --AtteSmythe 23:18, 26 October 2006 (PDT)
