Azure defunct infobox?

Aren't all Azure flags defunct by definition, since the ocean no longer exists? --Thunderbird 12:40, 12 January 2006 (PST)

I had it defunct, then changed it. My reasoning was that with the ocean closing, the flags didn't disband, and could therefore still be holding islands. I thought that was important information to preserve. The only other problem that I could think of was that on a non-defunct, the new "Last updated on" system could be problematic - but all we'd have to do is not mark the month that an ocean closed as outdated. I almost created an "azure defunct" infobox with an island field, but thought that I could shoehorn the functionality into the existing one. --AtteSmythe 13:18, 12 January 2006 (PST)
