A Dad in need of help on his lunch break.
Apparenty Puzzle Pirates is running a contest regarding the design of an island and then submitting that design to be able to get a prize or something. My daughter has downloaded a file that helps to do this but there is no way to submit the design that I can figure out.
I've tried to save the file to a folder on our computer but the darn thing won't do that because of XML <- whatever that is. (Also this is your first clue as to how computer savvy I ain't!) I looked at the instructions - written in total Greek to me - as to what to about going to FreeWebs or something Bucket to upload the entry, yadda yadda yadda. Yeah right, that opened up a whole new learning curve and all sorts of questions.
When I was trying to save her design there was some message about a portal not being open or available. What's that all about?
If you can help out a Dad with some super simple and detailed instructions as to how to get her island design uploaded - saved - submitted - to the contest I would appreciate it. I can be reached at rkcdad@yahoo.com if you know of a simple way to do what needs to be done.
