Talk:Stall

From YPPedia

Callistan did the original redirect. I just copied it over to here. --Zyborg22

Would it be better for this to be a disambiguation page as I've made it, or should I just turn it back into a redirect, and have a "see this page if..." note on bazaar? Most of the links to this page are for shop stalls. (Re: User_talk:Emufarmers#Tag, you're it!.) --Emufarmers 10:45, 22 July 2006 (PDT)

After looking over the articles, I personally think links to [[bazaar|stall]] are appropriate. 'Stall' and 'stalling' are too close to each other for my comfort, and I abhor those 'see this page if...' notes. That's just my 2p, though. --AtteSmythe 23:22, 24 July 2006 (PDT)
When linking to market stalls, one would still link to bazaar; this is for the purpose of linking. I don't particularly dislike the "see if" notes (I tend to think of full disambiguation pages as more for when there are more than two possible usages, as with, say, egg, although one could also take the stance that the "see if" notes should only be used when one usage is far more likely to be searched for than the other; most of the links here might be for market stalls, but if someone were just searching for "stall," it might be more likely that he or she were looking for stalling), but if nobody weighs in, I'll go ahead and do all the disambiguation tomorrow, leaving this as a disambiguation page. --Emufarmers 22:14, 25 July 2006 (PDT)
Oh, I see. We're really talking at right angles, aren't we? Yes, I agree (or think I agree) that this makes a good disambig page, rather than a redirect to Bazaar. --AtteSmythe 22:23, 25 July 2006 (PDT)
