To-do list
please do not put a to do list on your page, it is pointless and humiliating cause everyone can see you've not done something they have
- I am not aware of any restrictions against a to-do list. There are other restrictions listed at the article on YPPedia policies and guidelines. It appears that the above warning came from an overzealous editor who is not an admin (and does not know to sign his posts with tildes.) I am also not an admin, but to my eyes, your article appears fine. Chupchup 14:17, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
- Chupchup is correct, there is no strict policy. That said, if the information can be included in a non-list fashion, that would be preferred. It'd make the page more complete if the details behind the "dones" (not including the ships, since lists of standard ship names are not allowed). E.G. Governor of X island, rather than just saying he was a governor. Also, the pirate in question seems to have achieved quite a bit, and saying they should feel "humiliated" by an incomplete to-do list is not only silly it's just plain condescending. --Fannon 14:53, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
