This is misnamed first of all, second, it has MORE info on PvP then the PvP page does. Merge it into PvP. Parate Safari Guide? The term is not used in-game, and not used by ANY pirates I know. --Addison 20:42, 24 October 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose. It's meant to be a guide, not a page about PvP. The carpentry tutorial arguably has more information about carpentry than the carpentry page itself, but you wouldn't suggest merging it. - Oppose I agree with Belt's comment. It's a guide that aims to explains in detail and might overwhelm a person who would only seek a basic understanding of PvP. Name: I was undecided on the name, I thought of Pirate on Pirate Guide then settled on Player on Player Guide but unfortunately there's already a similar Player versus player article so I aimed for something different that wouldn't confuse article names and to highlight that it's a guide that explains PvP in detail. My other choices were "Pirate Hunting", "Pirate Venatics", "Pirate Fishing" all of which seemed vaguely relevant, not simple, hard to remember or very unoriginal. My original aim of the guide was to show the shortcomings yet where PvP is still possible. Make attacking ELITE player merchants possible if that helps understands the aim of the guide. --Burnt water 03:52, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

- Oppose Belthazar451 has convinced me that it's not going to be merged. Name issue: It shouldn't be something like Pirate Fishing etc...
it is sort of slang... it should be something OFFICIAL. Like how Sloop Pillaging Guide is not the "Killing brigands on a sloop guide". However, I will list Burnt water's names onto a list of possible names that established editors (the page creator too!) could vote on. I'll let the merge deal go on (for... a week?), but if it fails (more Oppose's) I will list names. --Addison 04:11, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

Neutral: I picked Pirate Safari Guide because I wanted a name that represents game for pirates. Game can also mean hunting but that was confusing to use "Pirate Game Guide" so I don't recommend that at all. Came across 'Safari' and since the pirates are in the tropics, I've picked that one although the general view of the name might view it as an animal hunt guide. --Burnt water 06:52, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
