Talk:Pelican Archipelago (Sage)

From YPPedia

Thanks for removing the hyphens for me. I was trying to find some way to add spaces between the map and the might ring to make it appear consistent with the way things are done in the island image template. So I copied it from there, not realizing the context of it as a table, and it did space it out but I didn't notice that the hyphens had actually become part of the page. Ooops.

I've now reworked things to be a table. I'm very tempted to remove the fact that the map floats on the right side because it seems to cause formatting problems in Firefox with an image that wide. It causes it to overlap with the menu on the left side of the page unless my web browser is quite a bit wider than I usually keep it. And the value of having the island names to the left of the map in sufficiently wide web browser windows seems dubious at best. If things are that big, they should be visible underneath anyway. Right now it seems that it's only helpful for very wide, but not long web browser windows.

I like the might ring thing! Nice job on that. And now I'm wondering, is there a reason the Sage arch pages are not formatted the same as the arch pages of the other oceans? I think this happened when they were created. The other oceans have the headings "Islands" and "Map", and I think that would go a long way to cleaning up the look of the Sage pages, as well as fix the overly wide windows. --Fannon 16:32, 21 March 2006 (PST)
