Talk:Officer training
There isn't much content, but I don't think it something that should be deleted... could be a productive article. Maybe just stubbifying it and linking to a few better-known intra-crew officer tutorials for now? Hate to see it go down the tubes because it's easier to CSD than fix. --Teeg 17:56, 11 March 2006 (PST)
- If this page is to be of any use, then someone needs to fill in exactly what traditional Officer training consists of; unfortunately, I haven't really trained anyone to be an officer in any structured manner (though I suppose Officer training is probably somewhat informal), so I don't really know exactly what it consists of, though I could guess. :/ --Emufarmers 18:15, 11 March 2006 (PST)
- I'll look into destubbifying later, but that should do for now. --Teeg 18:41, 11 March 2006 (PST)
-Instead, I like it as a stub, but why don't we just allow linking to officer training sites from other crews?
~I have added what I think is a broad list of things done in Officer Training that would or should be seen in any crew training program. If the list is too opinionated, adjust it as necessary. Links to training sites of other crews would be a great idea to put at the bottom which would give a more descriptive approach. --Marmink 11:46, 19 February 2007 (PST) ~An update on my additions, I felt that Mink Style Format was to opinionated and irrelevent to the actual article. I don't know whether to create a seperate article for that or just to leave it in the Marinko article. --Marmink 14:12, 19 February 2007
