Talk:Duty navigation tutorial
Strategy Disclaimer
I've been perusing some of the other tutorials currently hosted on the wiki while creating this one and noticed that none of them have a real disclaimer regarding the strategy discussed in the tutorial vs. individual player preferences. I know it sounds like something that would be common sense but I'm a person who always likes to have things in black and white.
Currently, what we have on the Admiraling a blockade page is this:
The topic of this article or section is subject to personal opinion, and does not represent any one absolute truth. | |
If you disagree, discuss your concerns on the the talk page before editing. |
And that's ok but it doesn't really convey what I think should be on a tutorial. I put this on the duty navigation tutorial:
Note - Not everyone puzzles the same way. While these techniques and strategies may work for some, they will not work for all. Developing a unique approach to a puzzle that works for the individual is the most important aspect of mastering the craft. These pictures and suggestions are meant as guidelines only and are in no way hard and fast rules as to the "correct" way to do this puzzle.
I went ahead and created a template just to see how it would work.

- I do prefer your version, although the icon looks rediculously out of place with the new background (and wasn't a particularly pretty duckling to begin with) --Ponytailguy 06:04, 25 September 2006 (PDT)
Duty puzzle category?
Quick question: this seems to be more of a tutorial than a duty puzzle page, so why is it in the duty puzzle category? --P1P3L1N3 19:02, 26 January 2007 (PST)
