Squidfang
Squidfang is captain of the crew, Genesis. He sails the Hunter Ocean. He is also the boyfriend of Kazzbahh, captain of the Sea Prowlers.
The Beginning
Squidfang began playing after being introduced to Puzzle Pirates by Cantelope of the crew Twisted Glory on January 2007. He joined his first crew, "The Morots" shortly after. His stay with the crew did not last long as he felt out of place and awkward. Upon leaving he took a job on a war brig led by the Captain of Divine Intervention, Ldude, and soon joined the crew. His time with Divine Intervention was most treasured as the bright, helpful and fun crew saw Squidfang grow from his simple roots to an accomplished officer, but disaster soon struck as their captain spent less and less time with them and was on the verge on becoming dormant. The crew, who had grown so close, were saddened over the splitting of the crew and vowed to pillage often together. Squidfang left the crew, leaving behind close friends such as Mushufreak, Puzzlegurl, Rumckle, Krispyg, Saucytoo and Runecloud.
The Sea Prowlers
Squidfang then joined the Sea Prowlers, wanting to be with one of his closest friends, Kazzbahh, who is also captain of the Sea Prowlers. At the time, the Sea Prowlers underwent a massive change in the crew structure, leading to tension between the crew members. After spending less than a month with the Sea Prowlers, Squidfang became an independant pirate again but still remained close friends with Kazzbahh.
WeBeFreaks
Meanwhile, an old friend and former officer of his, Mushufreak, founded her own crew, WeBeFreaks. The crew held remnants of the old members from Divine Intervention, save for a fellow officer, Runecloud, who founded his own crew as well as taking Rourini, another officer, with him. Wanting to be with his old friends, Squidfang joined WeBeFreaks where Mushufreak promoted him to senior officer. At last, Squidfang was home again. On May 2007 Squidfang successfully convinced Runecloud to merge his crew into WeBeFreaks. The old crew had been reunited.
Twisted Glory
Growing restless, Squidfang joined Twisted Glory on the advice of his good friend, Shinyschmo. Here he found and made some of the strongest friendships he had ever known. Also at this time, Squidfang and Kazzbahh began dating, much to the amusement of others. Characters just as Vahid, Mynci, Megami, Yarharcourt, Prettysoul, Unknownhope, Asperity and a host of others quickly became his family, the bond growing stronger with each passing day. All was well but eventually the dormancy of many senior officers, especially Twisted Glory's captain, Drayke, and the departure of Tentei and Megami led to the flag's downfall.
Genesis
With the fall of Sins of the Flesh, Squidfang decided it was time to begin his own crew. Hearing of this, Prettysoul of Twisted Glory, a close friend of Squidfang, made the decision to follow him, becoming his senior officer, and thus Genesis was born.
