Crew articles
**We are a courteous bunch of rapscallions - Please be polite to yer fellow pirates.**
- Although cursing may be piratized by Puzzle Pirates (Billions of blue blistering barnacles!) we ask that ye keep vulgar and mis-typed curse-words and phrases to yerself. PP is a game fer pirates of all ages and there are better ways to express pirate angst, like "Arrrrr!" and such.
- Unless ye have an emergency, DO NOT leave during a battle. Leaving during battle without good excuse will get ye a -1.
- Be mindful of what officers and pilly leaders are sayin. This is important. Runnin a pilly is a challenge and we all have to work as a team to get the best booty we can. There may be millions of ways of doin a thing but if the pilly leader or officer asks fer it to be done a certain way, then let's do it that way.
- Jobbers, cabin persons and pirates can bilge, carp, sail, and sometimes may be requested to gun by the pilly leader. DNav and BNav are fer officers and trainees only.
- If yer a member of the crew and see that a ship is out to sea, always ask "Permission to Board" or "PTB" and the name of the ship. Wait fer the pilly leader to grant permission before whisking on board. If ye don't, yer guaranteeing yerself a planking!
- PVP is fine, but if the other party asks that we give quarter (stop attacking them), then we will give up the fight without further damaging their vessel.
Remember: We are all pirates who want to have fun!
Promotion requirements
Sevenofseven and Zephyra are co-captain of Skilly 'n' Duff. Any pirate may ask to join the crew. Bein' a member of Skilly 'n' Duff means bein' a member of a crew who loves fun and adventure! If yer looking fer a grand crew and want to have fun we welcome ye aboard! :)
One thing we'll say right away is being an officer in this crew is something that is not immediately granted to anyone who asks - whether ye have the stats er not. It is a matter of trust. The officer corps must get to know ye first. It might not be instant promotions in this crew, but we think we'll be a tighter bunch of pirates because of it.
