Wars
Schlecht Kaisees
On March 9th, 2006, Silhouetto declared war on the flag Schlecht Kaisees. Its monarch, Cavemantwo, had issued an unsolicited flag invitation to the Purple People Eaters.
On March 11th, a truce proposed by Schlecht Kaisees was accepted by Silhouetto.
The crews of Schlecht Kaisees lost three ships out of seven; Silhouetto lost none.
Eagles of Death
On March 11th, 2006, the flag Eagles of Death declared war on Silhouetto. The receipt of such a declaration had been made a condition of the truce with Schlecht Kaisees, who were allied to Eagles of Death at the time, due to the belief that the Storm Eagles' (Eagles of Death's sole crew) nonexistent officer training and massive recruiting provided a poor environment for greenies, but their royalty would not be likely to reciprocate a war declaration.
On March 15th, the Storm Eagles, unable to leave their flag due to its being at war, procured and accepted a flag invitation from Rebellion. The pillage princes had joined the flag during the war, but their sole ship had already been sunk and they were not the intended targets of the war. Therefore, a truce which Eagles of Death royalty had immediately offered when the war began was accepted.
During the war, the Storm Eagles lost ten ships out of eighteen, including several brigs, and the pillage princes lost their sole war brig, totalling eleven ships sunk. Silhouetto lost no ships.
Blockades
Basset I
Silhouetto participated in the first blockade of Basset Island, on April 1st 2006. Cold Steel won the blockade in three rounds, but Silhouetto scored a reasonable amount of points in each round, and sank many more ships than they lost. The loss was attributed by Silhouetto to not having enough jobbers to man ships.
