Running With Scissors is a crew on the Emerald Ocean, originally founded on the Sage Ocean on January 19, 2006, disbanded, and then recreated on March 24 2007 by Sedeuca. It proudly sails under the flag of Synthetic Generation, having once flown the flag of Unseen University.
The crew is a fun, organized crew in which pirates will have freedom to puzzle and learn. The name Running with Scissors was chosen to send the message of playing dangerously, as pirates do. Loot, pillage, wreck and have fun doing it. The crew has a small set of rules though, to make sure that clean fun does not become rude and disturbing to other players, and the members of Running With Scissors believe strongly in respecting their fellow pirates. Running With Scissors is not an elite crew, yet they have limited ranking standards and only those who show true perseverance will get the benefits of officer rank and up, therefore a few good skills to show a pirate's willingness to grow is important.
History
After much planning, Sedeuca left her former crew and started the crew Running With Scissors and was joined by Ador shortly after. Together they took the crew from rumored to celebrated fame within 2 months, after gaining a crew record of 88 members. Ever since then have helped each other in taking over captainship to make the running of the crew bearable. That was until Sedeuca decided to leave the crew and give full ownership to Ador. At that time, Running With Scissors had declined to approximately 50 members which Ador was maintaining on her own. She managed to keep the crew running successfully well into the the year 2008 and thanks to her persistence the crew lasted until the present, regardless of its loss in fame and members.
On August 5 2008, Sedeuca returned to Running With Scissors after its recent and drastic loss in members due to Adors retirement from captainship to pursue otherworldly goals. Sedeuca's decision to return was based on her lifelong dedication to the existence of the crew that has always held a special place in her heart, however a month later she created a new crew in which she did not intend to recruit anyone but remained a one person crew before her disappearance in September 2008. Sedeuca has not been seen since and all that can be heard throughout Running With Scissors now, is silent echos of better times. Ador remains the loyal owner of the crew despite her scarceness on sage ocean.
Public Statement
Running with Scissors is a crew with history and therefore provides a very comfortable place where pirates can not only join in on wonderful adventures and make new friends while being themselves, but find a cool place to call home for their piratey pixels!

To Join the crew you simply have to ask an officer or higher!
RWS does not currently have a ranks system and all ranks will be based on general things such as stats, personality, trust, loyalty etc. until the crew grows more.
