Rudder Lubbers

The Rudder Lubbers were the flagship crew of Rudder Revolution, originally led by Pennsuedo. In their Azure and Midnight heyday, they were one of the largest crews on the ocean, known widely for their part in several events. Other past captains, in chronological order, include Dora, Potato, Crystallina, and Dittemuzz. The crew still exists, populated by a few old salts.
The Rudder Lubbers' crew color has traditionally been purple.

Arrgh! The toss o' the sea, water and sky in every direction, and a ship that accidently tried to cross yer waters only to find it must cross yer guns and swords -- We live fer the good fight, the good sail, good rum, and good hearties! These fine mates and fine ships be our family. We take care o' our own, and our own take care o' us!
We hail from them mythical days o' Alpha testin'. Our name carries far. We wuz the ones to hold the famous 24-hour bashes, the week long weddin' bash, and some o' the greatest events the game has e'er seen. We lub to party. We wuz the reason they made the blackship. We wuz the first to be hit by the black ship. We wuz the first to e'er defeat the blackship -- time again when e'en the devs sed it wuz impossible. We caused the first and still greatest large-scale sinking blockade back on Papaya. We wuz the first to fight and win a war on the open seas.
Many a famous mate, many a crew on the ocean, many a flag o' worth comes from the Rudder Lubbers. We be big thankers, influential movers that shape the game, and we generally don't give a ship whut folks may thank o' us. We got skilled and much-experienced mates that yer best advised to take as friends and avoid as enemies.
