Blockade Changes:
- Added Spectator mode for blockades. Players can now click the "spectate" button when on a ship they control at an island with an ongoing blockade. This will allow the vessel to enter blockade spectating mode.
- Players can see the blockade board and score board as if they were in the blockade.
- The vessel does not enter the board and does not require any puzzling.
- Players may board and leave the vessel.
- A "job" offer can be displayed to open the spectating vessel to the public.
- Added blockade chat for blockades. Much in the same way <game> chat works, this chat mode connects anyone who is on a vessel in a blockade.
- The command is "/blockade" and can only be used while in a blockade.
- Blockade chat can be muted with "/blockade-off" and "/blockade-on".
- Players on spectating vessels are included in blockade chat.
- Mercenaries will no longer fill all ship stations when in blockade mode. They will fill up to a percent of the stations. Currently that's 33% on Emerald for the event blockade on the 23rd. Adjustments will be made after that as needed. Mercenaries will still fill all stations on low population oceans. This number for each ocean may be subject to future adjustments / balancing.
- Warchests will be increased. The new number is based on island taxes. In addition, successfully defending a blockade will reward defenders with 75% of the warchest (up from 50%). Attackers will now get 50% of the warchest back upon winning.
- Blockade pay for pirates has been adjusted. The amount of puzzling per segment will now affect player pay the same way as mercenary pay. The old pay system pays nothing until a player puzzles a certain amount, they pays for the whole segment. The new system pays proportionally to the amount puzzled in a segment.
- Blockade max pay will be increased. Max pay for blockades will be increased to 15000.
Other Changes:
- Reduced the amount of rumspice awarded while pillaging.
- Players are now limited to 2 additional alts (3 pirates including your main) per ship.
