Crew Info | |
Really Bad Eggs is a crew that only recently appeared on the shores of the Hunter Ocean coming from some unknown seas at the northwest of Aimuari Island. A bunch of merry sailors with few riches, but lots of bravery and a huge thirst for adventures and rum, they'll swear allegiance to no flag, bow to no King and only sail to where their hearts command.
Their origin is mostly unknown. While some rumors speak they come from the Eagle Archipelago, more specifically from the vicinity of Ilha da Aguia, others put their origins further away and state the islands in that archipelago are only used by the crew as hideouts. Those few who jobbed in one of their ships, usually call the attention to the "weird language" they speak among themselves and note they use English only when dealing with outsiders.
Although public known as an autocratic crew, its captain, Redjones will rarely do anything without the approval of his fellow pirates and in most occasions will consult each and every one of them before a decision, unless it's obviously for the good of the crew. This also reflects on the booty shares adopted by the crew, that divides the booty equally among themselves and privileges no officers. They're also known by their fierce companionship, only supplanted by the intensity of their wrath against anyone who disturbs their harmony or harasses anyone among the crew's dearest ones.

Joining the Crew
Joining the Really Bad Eggs is not an easy task. Gaining their confidence and loyalty thereafter, though, makes joining sound as down river rowing. Any pirate willing to join their ranks must be presented to the crew by one of them and is expected to be accepted by all. This includes people presented by the captain himself.
Ranks
No one should expect to become a crew pirate before general approval by the majority of crew members and shouldn't even dream about becoming an officer before a good proof of loyalty. The Really Bad Eggs award ranks as below:
- Cabin person: Not used by the crew. It's reserved for those who were presented, but not accepted yet.
- Pirate: Basic rank, awarded to those accepted by the crew, as long as they can perform well at bilging, sailing, carpentry or gunnery.
- Officer: Lowest office rank, awarded to those who went through basic officer training.
- Fleet officer: Intermediate office rank, awarded to experienced officers. Especially those who have a ship of their own.
- Senior officer: Highest office rank, awarded only to those who proved their loyalty above any doubts.
Titles
The Really Bad Eggs have strict rules concerning the use of Titles. While most crews use them lightly, mostly as secondary rank to distinguish between crew members of equal ranks, they use titles to determine each sailor's responsibilities aboard ship. A title defines the primary station a crew member will occupy when in a vessel, unless he or she is ordered otherwise by an officer or all stations of the type are already full. Titles are normally chosen by the sailors themselves and assigned by the captain.
- Primary Titles
