Ram Raiders is a Midnight Ocean crew which was founded on September 11th 2004 by Sandros. It was previously captained by Halican, who has taken a break from the game for family reasons. Grogbone then took the post of Captain, but has since retired from the game. Icemeister became captain on December 6th, 2006.
On July 22, 2006, the crew was renamed from Sunken Souls to its current name.
On December 13, 2006, the crew moved to the flag Don't Panic.
Public Statement
A ram raider is someone that drives a vehicle through a shop window or door to gain entry and subsequently loot the place. For a long time we have fantasized over sailing a sloop at "full-crank" up the beach of any island and "parking it in a shop". Let's make it happen , live the dream*.
*Dream fulfillment depends largely on our personal effort to create a fuel as similar to nitrous as possible. At the moment various fruit pulps are being brewed and tested on our test pilot , Icemeister. So far this brew has failed to make him sail faster , although , it is definitely generating more wind. So we believe we are on the right track.
