Crew Statement
Powa Moku means pirates in Hawaiian. Descriptively, it means "to rob a ship."
Powa Moku does not have any specific goal; its members primarily enjoy pillaging and making good money together. Nevertheless, members of this crew have been saving money in anticipation of the opening of Kuhio Island, which is shaped like the island of Oahu, one of the eight major islands in the Hawaiian archipelago. The intention is to create a paradise on Kuhio with low tax rates and low costs for ship restocks.
Powa Moku has no formal rules -- its pirates are free to enjoy the game in their own ways as long as their actions are not inconsistent with the Aloha Spirit (love and respect).
Captain Hula favors ocean-going pirates and will provide one-on-one training for Battle Navigation.
There also is no formal rules of promotion. New players with reasonable experience and a display of dedication and maturity generally will be promoted to officer upon request. Officers are allowed to use designated crew ships to begin leading pillages. The rationale of this policy is to encourage pillages.
Promotion to ranks of fleet officer and senior officer is entirely discretionary. Factors of consideration may include crew loyalty, contribution, maturity, leadership, puzzle skills and/or Battle Navigation skills.
