Portrait pose

From YPPedia
(Redirected from Portrait poses)

When commissioning a portrait, the pirate's portrait pose will be determined by either the pirate's portrait item or clothing. If a pirate is holding an item, it will usually be in the pirate's right hand, and the left arm will be by the pirate's side or placed in a jacket pocket. A few of the bludgeons are held in both hands. If no item is chosen, then the pirate's upper-body clothing determines the pose.

Skellie Poses

During the Halloween events of 2008, pirates could create portraits of themselves as skellies, zombies and ghosts. For zombie and ghost portraits, pose is defined by the upper-body clothing or held item, as per normal portraits. However, as skellies can wear no clothing save hats, they have only one available pose for each gender. A skellie with a hook will hold the hook in front of the pelvis.

Werewolf Poses

Any item of torso or leg clothing worn by a werewolf appears as rags, meaning that, like skellies, werewolves have only one pose.
