PVP Code
Created in March 2004 by Ironfisted, of the Ransack Marauders, to try to solve the ocean's problems with PvP. The main forum discussion can be found at http://forums.puzzlepirates.com/community/mvnforum/viewthread?p=80451#80451 . Although, nearly forty crews put the phrase "I support the PvP Code" into their crew profiles, the movement lost momentum due to negative publicity.
The PvP Code
I will disengage if asked to.
I will allow for a fair rematch if asked. (Not necessarily at that exact time.)
I will be a good sport if I lose.
I will not attack ships that are vastly weaker than I am.
I will not keep attacking the same crew.
I will not track down certain crews that I dislike.
I will not use alts or anything else to gain an unfair advantage.
I PvP for the sport and challenge.
The undersigner of said code puts the phrase "I support the PvP Code" in their public articles to both affirm good sportsmanship and to ensure that the code will enacted if undersigner is engaged. This code is temporarily voided if two crews are at war with each other.
