Owynvan
Owynvan is the captain of the crew Pink Moon and King of the flag The Ocean's Tear. He sails on the Midnight Ocean.
Biography
Owynvan first came to the Midnight Ocean in 2004. He started off as a jobber for the Scabby Sea Rats, who were under the flag of The Jolly Company at the time. He worked for Nurmenukk as a jobber, who signed him onto the crew and later became a longtime friend. Starting out as a pirate, he was mentored by Tonkatoy, Nurmenukk, and Tallinnamany, who also became a longtime friend. He bought his first ship when he was still a pirate (the ship was never finished). While it was building, he took Officer's Training under Senior Officer Crow and Senior Officer Tonkatoy. He was promoted to Officer, but never got the ship. For less than a day he was with the Fandango Familiars, run by Captain Bifnot, but later rejoined the Scabby Sea Rats. The second half of 2004 was marked by inactivity, and when he returned in 2005, the crew's captain switched from Hobophil to Tallinnamany. He formed his own crew, The Ocean's Tear, with his friend and brother. Failure to recruit subscribed players caused The Ocean's Tear to fail. He, again, rejoined the Scabby Sea Rats under Captain Tallinnamany. During this time, he purchased his own ship (Sloop: Proper Guppy) and was promoted to Fleet Officer, he would soon become dormant again. Owynvan returned after another half a year of inactivity and saw that the crew had a new captain, Kvarno. He remained with the crew for a few days after his return but decided that the crew was too inactive and sought out a new crew to join. He joined the Good Omens crew, invited by Senior Officer Cire, whose Captain was Daleen. He currently captains his own crew, Pink Moon. The crew was allied with the flag Midsummer Knights, but recent success influenced the crew to go out on it's own. Owynvan founded The Ocean's Tear on February 5th, 2008, of which he is currently king.
