Overview
The 2009 Pirate Census was taken between the 10th and 17th of July, 2009.
The information provided here summarized information based on player responses.
Findings
Demographics
3718 Pirates provided responses to the census. Responses indicated a 60%/40% male/female split.
Interestingly, 50% of Pirates on the subscription Oceans reported female. An even split for subscribers!
27% of respondents played predominantly on subscription Oceans
50% of Pirates were 19 years of age or younger. However, this was affected by gender:
- 62% of male Pirates reported being under 19
- 30% of female Pirates reported being under 19
73% of responding Pirates have played Puzzle Pirates for 3 or more years
