Murex Island is a medium island located in the Iguana Archipelago. There are three routes from the island: Emerald Ocarina, Woad Island and an interarch route to Tethys Island in the Basilisk Archipelago.

This island spawns chalcocite, iron, and lorandite.

History
Murex Island was originally located on the Malachite Ocean. An inscription on the lorandite spawn near the island's right 'wing' reads "This island were fashioned by Yngvild."
The name Murex refers to a spiny shellfish used for the making of royal purple dye. The island resembles the shape of a Murex shell.
