History
Motion of the Ocean was founded on April 20, 2009 by Hotbeard. They were a growing and ambitious crew built on friendliness and fairness. They began as a small democratic group of friends, but quickly grew out of their shell and were accepting regular membership from anyone looking to help continue their streak of successes.
Public Statement
When you climb up to the crow's nest, and there's not a ship in sight for miles around? We've already sunk everything.
When you're half a league from port, burdened with mountains of gold, and some ship engages and steals it all? That's us.
When you spend years scouring the ocean for that hidden treasure, days digging up the chest, hours trying to open it, and finally, inside you find a note. "Motion Of The Ocean were here! Arrr!" We got there first.
We're a growing, and ambitious crew that's built on friendliness and fairness. We began as a small democratic group of friends, but have quickly grown out of our shell and are now accepting regular membership from anyone looking to help continue our streak of successes.
If you're a new pirate, this is a great crew to cut your teeth on, and if you're already a successful pirate we will provide challenges for you.
We don't use a single set of rules to chose promotions, instead promotions are given based on individual merit. Our only requirement is that in order to get into the officer's club you have a ship, and know how to use it.
