Public Statement
Ahoy and welcome to the info for Lonestar Legends! I am MajorTom, captain of this fine crew. I run a tight ship here, and expect hard work and dedication from members and jobbers alike. That being said, here are some of the ground rules:
1. TEAM -- I cannot emphasize this enough; teaming during sea battles is very important. (Which is why it's likely the most mentioned by crews). You team by clicking on the face of the opponent. A WHITE BOX around the enemy's puzzle will indicate that your attacks are being sent to THAT pirate. We team in 2s and 3s in this crew. If your WHITE BOX has less than 2 or more than 3 dots next to it...click on a pirate that will create the desired number of attackers.
2. Lazing about will not be tolerated in this crew and will likely result in planking.
3. While the ship is at sea - No issuing of challenges or trading on board.
4. Spamming (typing the same text over and over) will result in planking. Repeatedly begging pirates aboard for money will also get you planked.
5. Please go to the station assigned by the CO. Begging to gun or nav will result in (you guessed it ^_-) the plank.
6. Try to save all questions and requests to join for port. If everyone tries to follow these guidelines, then it will result in a better experience for all aboard. I don't like rules, but a few bad apples spoil things sometimes. This is a game, let's try to have fun :)
CREW COLORS: Red, White & Blue Why these colors? As you might have guessed from the name, I'm from Texas. Therefore, from the US, as well...and both flags contain the same colors. These colors are not required, but something to consider if you'd like to join.
BECOMING A MEMBER: We accept anyone into this crew, just ask an officer. (However, I'd like to encourage my fellow Texans to join, as well ^_^). No matter where ye may be from, promotions are the same and outlined in the private statement.
