Lifeboats are used when players wish to embark on a Kraken hunt, and there must be one lifeboat per pirate on board the ship each time it enters the lair of the legendary Kraken. Once the lair has been entered, the lifeboat will be consumed. Lifeboats are categorized as ship supplies, and are created at shipyards by processing wood, iron, and grog.
