A penguin is a limited-edition pet, first available at the end of 2011 and beginning of 2012. Penguins can periodically be bought from the palace shoppe for 100,000 Pieces of Eight and, on doubloon oceans, 100 doubloons.

Swashbuckling penguins with eye patches, hats, and fish skeletons were available in January 2016. They were the same type of penguin used for the 2015 Holiday events, except in ice blue.
