Game concept

Hammering metal nails into the wood.

Objective

Hammering nails from smallest to the biggest as fast as possible.

Gameplay

A long piece of plank provided with a line of all size of nail. There is a tool box (with 3 nail at a time) that show what nail will fall in after you hammered the nail down. The player can only hit the nail 1 or 3 space away from their original position (to right or to the left) If the nail is not go from smallest to biggest, the furniture will fall apart and you will booch. If the nail is go in order, you will score. You are nailing in set of 4. After hitting 4 nails it reset to prevent you booching. (that mean the highest you can make is bingo)

If it's confusing, there is an image below that can make everything clearer.

Scoring

It depend on time and combo. For every 2 second you waste, you will lose 1 point.

If you hammers nail size in order. Eg: hammers nail size 1, then nail size 2, then size nail 3, then nail size 4, you will make a bingo and achieve a high score.

If you hammers nail size 1, nail size 1, nail size 1, nail size 1. This is hammering 4x the same size nail, you will get a bonus score.

If you hammers nail size 1, nail size 1, nail size 3, nail size 4, you will not achieve as high score because they aint in order.

If you hammers nail size 4 then nail size 1, your nail will fall off and you will booch.

Skipping nail is based on nail size multiply by nail size and add a zero to the end of the number.

So score is based on: (size + size + size + size) - (the seconds you waste) - (skipping nail).

Example of how to count nail skipping point)

Skipping nail size from 3 to 6, difference in skipping is 3 therefore lose 3 point.

Example of how point is score:

Hammering nail size 1, 2, 3, 4. Time spent is 5 second.

(1 + 2 + 3 + 4 = 10 point) - (2 point) - (no skip = 0) + (extra 25 point for perfect furnishing)= 32 point

Hammering nail size 2, 3, 4 and 5. Time spent is 10 second

( 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 = 14 point) - (5 point) - ( no skip= 0 ) + (extra 25 point for perfect furnishing)= 34 point

Hammering nail size 1, 3, 4, 5. Time spent is 10 second

( 1 + 3 + 4 + 5= 13 point) - (5 point) - (skip from 1 to 3= 2 point) = 6 point

Hammering nail size 2, 5, 5, 5. Time spent is 10 second.

(2 + 5 + 5 + 5= 17 point) - (5 point) - (skip from 2 to 5= 3 point)= 9 point

Hammering nail size 1, 1, 1, 1. Time spent is 20 second.

(automatically 50 point) - (10 point) = 40 point

Hammering nail size 5, 5, 5, 5. Time spend is 15 second.

(automatically 50 point) - (7 point) = 43 point

Hammering nail size 3, 4, 4, 1. Time spend is 5 second.

BOOCH, automatically lose 30 point

The lowest score you can get in each set is 0, even if you wait 1 hour and come back to your set you will only get 0. You can't get a negative score.

Variability

Different size of nail.

End criteria

The game ends when you have nailed 80 times (or 20 set of nail).

Difficulty scaling

Nail size increase. The more different size nail, the more harder the puzzle because there is a limitation of where you can move. But also higher chance to gain point.

Crafting type

Furnishing

Known problems

unknown

Notes

Perhaps in the real game, nail that is highlighted in green can show player which nails that are allows to hammer. And perhaps the nails is labelled a numbers size to know how big the nail is.
