Codename = Gourami
Made by Anamii of Sage
Objective
To Finish building furniture by matching groups of material in blocks of 3 or more.
Game Play
The aim of the game is to succesfully collect all items needed to build a piece of furniture. To do this you must match groups of 3 or more blocks of the same material. Sketches below will give a better explanation. There will be a meter at the side showing progress, fill the meter to have either a paintbrush, a hammer, a nail or a pot of varnish drop onto the board. Gain all of these items to finish the game. Allowing the pieces to reach the top causes the game to booch. There is also a timer to the right of the board in the form of a sun, allowing the sun to reach the bottom of the board ends the game.
Scoring
Clearing a group of pieces adds to your score. The scores depend on how many pieces you clear.
The maximum amount of pieces a pirate can clear in one move is 65, the minimum (without use of special peices) is 3.
Use of special moves
1 piece cleared = 0.25 points
2 pieces cleared = 0.50 points
Normal clearing
3 pieces cleared = 1 point
4 pieces cleared = 2 points
Working out scores, N-2 (N being the amount of pieces cleared)
Combos
A combo is made by clearing pieces in succession before a new row is added to the board.
Drop Pieces
There is a meter to the left of the board in the form of a hammer, a pirate must fill this to gain a building piece.
To fill the meter you have to clear a total of 25 pieces per building piece. If a pirate has cleared say 24 pieces and makes a clear of 4 pieces, the remaining 3 pieces will go towards the next build piece.
Variability
As a person gains skill in this puzzle, there will be a few changes to make the game more difficult. The speed of new rows appearing at the bottom will decrease.
There are also some special moves.
Jug o' rum allows the pirate to clear any piece no matter whether or not it is in a group of 3 or more.
Saw halfs the amount of pieces on the board.
Clock moves the sun back up the board for a certain amount of time.
As a pirate gains skill, more special pieces will appear on their boards.
End Criteria
The game ends as soon as the pirate collects all the building pieces, or if the normal pieces reach the death row (located at the top of the board.)There is also a timer at the top of the board in the form of a sun, if the sun reaches the bottom of the board before the game is complete you loose.
Difficulty Scaling
The difficulty can by adjusted as a pirate gains skill. The speed at which a new row of pieces eneters the board decreases.
Crafting Type
