Game concept

Kinda like the Bilging game already available for play

Objective

To match different shapes together based on color and shape.

Gameplay

The board is filled with up to 11 kinds of pieces (8 normal, and 3 special). Each shape is either a different shape or color or metal. The three special shapes are: Ore, Bellows, and Hammer.

The player's job is to match the different shapes or colors to each-other (no 2 shape/color combinations will be the same of the 8 main blocks). These blocks disappear and add score when 3 or more are placed side-by-side. A player's success is measured by how hot the iron becomes (in a vessle next to the game board).

The special blocks, the Ore, Bellows, and Hammer, are there to either hinder or aid the player. The Ore starts as a rock. It cannot be moved or used in any way. It may be removed by heating it up through making combinations within 2 squares of it. When one combination is done, it looks hot, and after a second, it dissappeares.

The Bellows is a special piece, which may be used to complete any chain since it can act as any shape/color combination.

The final piece, the Hammer, does a similar action to the blow-fish in Bilging in that it destroys pieces around it.

The controls are similar to Bilging as clicking is what changes pieces around. Instead of only being able to change a piece with it's partner, it may be possible to instead change it within it's row or column. If you make too many moves to get to the next set, be warned, there will be some cool death animations.

Every set of pieces destroyed is replaced from above. Depending on the score of the combination, a mold of a scimitar becomes more and more filled up. When it is, the game is over.

Scoring

Similar to Bilging because it is based on speed and efficiency. The bigger the set, or chain of sets (3x3, 4x3, ect), the better the score is.If enough time is waisted, the score of the next set can be zero. The further the piece is moved, the less score it obtained. As well, the less moves taken to create a set plays an important role. If too many wrong moves are made, the game ends (liquid iron cascades from the top).

Variability

Disposing of Ore gives a slight bonus, whereas using a bellows or hammer add nothing to a players score, except set the timer back so it's as if a move had been completed.

End criteria

The game ends when a certain number of points are gained (measured as the filling of a Scimitar mold). Making too many moves between sets will cost you the game.

Difficulty scaling

At higher levels, Ore will appear more often, and the time at which points from the next set are taken away diminishes. As well, the points needed to complete the game goes up slightly, but not enough to make the game last more than a couple minutes longer.

Crafting type

Blacksmith/Ironworking

Known problems

=No time limit means that it can last forever should a person take a break.

Notes

This is the best I could come up with. Not the best detail-oriented person, so if you have any questions or want to point out anything I may be missing, just bring it to my attention and I'll fix it.
