Free Turtle

Free Turtle was both a Midnight flag and a coalition force formed of shoppe keepers and allied flags. The shoppe keepers of Turtle Island banded together to seize control of the island from Hades, a special event character. Hades had cast a red mist over the island and set taxes to 100%. The Turtle II blockade was unsuccessful due in part to Hades' paid jobbers during the first three rounds. Even after the pay was eliminated to give Free Turtle a better chance at winning, some flags continued to defend the island in hope of future pay.
