Flag Football teams

Flag Football teams are small unit forces that work together to score points in Flag Football.

Team Names

When a team is registered, they must choose and present a one word name. That name can be from any theme. The team will then be called by their arch name, then by thier team name. ie. the "Diamond Accountants" or the "Ruby Gamers".

Team Colors

Each team must register a set of two colors and one each of male and female outfits for thier team. The outfit registered, with the color combination, then becomes the team's official uniform. Each team that progresses to the regular season will recieve a "badge" with a team logo if they have not submitted one of thier own. The badge will be their official logo for the team.

Team Roster

Teams consist of seventeen pirates, listed as follows.

Owner

The owner of a team is in charge of the logistics holding together the team. They work with the other owners in the arch to put together the arch's bid on which bowl they want to play in as well as registering the team with the official MBL staff. Inbetween seasons they are also in charge of thier team's roster as well as registering any transfers or trades. The owner of a team must be homed in the arch the team represents. The owner may double with an alt as a Swabbie.

Coach

In a way the Coach is also the admiral for the team. The coach prepares ships heading onto the board, watches the srtategies and and tactics being used, and calls the plays for his/her team. The coach is also responsible for liasing with the MBL staff for prizes, and distribution of those prizes to thier team. The Coach may double with an alt as a swabbie.

Swabbies

There are fifteen Swabbies per team, split between the offensive and defensive roster. offensive and defensive rosters must be either seven people each. The positions minimums are:

Defensive Line:

• Naver (1)

• Carper (2)

The lines are allowed to mix when manning a ship. The rosters are mainly an administrative detail for the MBL staff to better track the players and teams.
