Greenie Clothes
Everywhere on Puzzle Pirates, there are pirates in outfits; some look great in outfits that could've cost thousands upon thousands of PoE. Then, there are more pirates, with slightly less PoE supply. Their dress simply shows it! New pirates walk around, but what really makes them stand out? Their outfit of course! Don't be tagged as a greenie because of clothing! Simply don't wear the following articles of clothing:
Rags
When beginning, rags are available for a starting pirate. Of course, that isn't the only way to get them. You also get rags when clothes get too old and dust, or if you buy rags from a stall or shoppe. Why would anyone buy rags? Well that's simple! Not all colors of rags can be obtained through the new pirate process. The rags (bottoms and tops) that can be obtained through making a new pirate:
- Red
- White
- Blue
- Tan
Now obviously, all the other colors NOT listed cannot be obtained through starting a new pirate. Just remember that wearing rags isn't a crisis- not always anyway!
Striped Tops and Stripy Knickers
Not only can rags be obtained as a starting outfit- but striped tops and stripy knickers can too, and these 2 articles of clothing, sometimes even in any color, stamp greenie ALL OVER anyone at all. At least keep distances from the following colors that can be received through creating a new pirate:
- Blue
- Red
- Tan
Wearing a pair of striped knickers just looks darn silly, along with a matching striped top. Avoiding stripy knickers at all costs is a good idea and on top of that, the colors don't show very well.
Shirt with Belt
The last article of clothing that can be received through creating a new pirate is this slightly more expensive piece of clothing. Though it can still show that someone is a greenie, it is much less apparent this way. On this note, keeping a look out for these starting clothing articles:
- White w/ tan, red or blue belt
- Red w/ tan, red or blue belt
- Blue w/ tan, red or blue belt
- Tan w/ tan, red or blue belt
Unfortunately, there are no starting shirts with belt a white belt, but on the bright side, white cloth is very cheap and easy to get, still making a pirate stand out just a tad!
Bandanas
After creating a pirate, one may do many things, one of which is getting a free bandana on a misson. Again, to not be tagged as a greenie, try to avoid the following colors of bandanas:
- Blue
- Red
- Tan
- White
Well, that pretty much summarizes the newbie clothes, but don't worry, there's more than that!
PoE- The Biggest Clothing Issue
Now, most pirates don't generally have the biggest wallet, but there are solutions!
Cheap Colors
Using cheap colors is the first way to have good looking clothes for cheap prices. Not only do they look expensive, but trotting around in them can sometimes give pirates bragging rights! Here are some cheap colors:
- White
- Tan
- Yellow
- Brown
Because cheaper colors are available, more expensive outfits can be bought- cheaper colors cost less PoE which equals more PoE to spend on the actual outfit!
Cheap Clothes
Most people would consider cheap clothes horrible, but any pirate can make them look nice with good colors! The best (as in cheap) clothing articles:
- Feathered Hat
- Scarf
- Long Dress
- Wrap
- Shirt with Belt
- Striped Shirt and Vest
- Boots
- Buckle Shoes
The above are the cheapest articles of clothing (besides the greenie pieces) that are available for use! Not only that, but with some fabulous colors, any pirate can look quite dashing!
Some Extra PoE
Although many pirates have not much PoE, some more fortunate pirates have lots of PoE to spend. Their solution is to use it to make your outfits better! Don't waste PoE on cheap outfits with expensive colors, you are noticed more with the opposite, cheap colors and expensive clothes!
Beautifully Dressed
People notice others who have better outfits. Use some of these and be dazzled by more attention from fellow pirates:
- Fancy Boots
- Curled Slippers
- Wide Brimmed Hat
- Laurel
- Muffin
- Flared Pants
- Gown
- Bloomers
- Bodice
- Midriff Blouse with Scarf
The above clothing pieces always stand out, and don't forget to use bright colors to make yourself stand out more!
Accessories
You can accessorize- not literally, but there is one thing that WILL work. Use options like bludgeons and swords to accessorize in battles! This may seem pointless to some, but looking good means everywhere- battles too. Just a few tips:
- Use a darker color than the actual outfit, it matches better
- Always match to the hat
Wait! There's More!
MORE? But not much, not to worry! Just a few polls conducted!
