Event E2/Schedule

To update your proposed schedule, please edit this page. Add a row to the table using the Sample template that you'll find when you edit. Out of game events need not do this.

Based on Pacific Time, the times are:

  • Midnight to 6AM - Overnight
  • 6AM to Noon - Morning
  • Noon to 6PM - Afternoon
  • 6PM to Midnight - Evening

Fill in the boxes with numbers to represent your choices of times. Many events will require more than one timeslot, or overlap multiple timeslots, just fill in more numbers to represent those times.

  • 1 = your optimal time(s) for your event to take place
  • 2 = your second place time(s) for your event to take place
  • 3 = any other time slots in which you could be available to run all or part of your event
  • 0 = any times you can't possibly be available to run your event.

We're not looking to get a complete lack of overlap, but we do need to make sure that not all of these events are running on Saturday at noon, so getting an idea of when you want to run your events is important.

Sample

Prefer to run phase 1 on Saturday the 4th in the afternoon, and phase 2 on the following Monday in the evening. Same schedule on the second weekend is my second choice. I can't possibly be available during weekdays.

Due to the nature of my event, it must be held on free drinking days, which are Mondays and Fridays. I also have to deal with class finals during this period, which severely limits which days I can run an event.

Tamsin

Because this is an in-game event, I'd prefer to run on the weekend when most players have free time. Unfortunately, I just found out I've been summoned out of town the weekend of the 3rd, and there's a slight possibility I'll be out the following weekend as well. I'd like to book during prime time on Saturday the 18th, (mid afternoon, I think) - with the caveat that if major blockade action happens, the event might be able to shift an hour or so (if contestants want) to allow for folks to participate in both.

Eclipsen

Almost all weekends are good for me. I won't be in town for the 18th or the 19th though. I'm free all day Saturday and usually after 2 PM PDT on Sunday. Most of the week is pretty bad for me, since I have school, homework, and various sports. Mondays and Wednesdays are my worst days for me during the week, and I'm not free until after 2 PM PDT on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Fridays are usually the 2nd best day for me, also. My event takes a while, and I would not like for it to start at 10 my time, which is why no evening spots are checked. Edit: My event is a blockade too, can't hold it during the week.

Ugh, I just found this page by chance after I've posted up my event. I hope that it is not too much trouble to everyone else. I can do it another evening possibly, but I don't want to wreck any plans that my registrants have already made. Very sorry! If there are issues, please leave a note in the talk for my events, thanks.

Dorel

I'd like to hold it during the weekend since it'd be the easiest time for me to hold the event at a Euro-friendly time. I also need a week for judging, so I wouldn't be able to hold it during the last weekend of the Event event.

Since it's a blockade, it has to be during the blockade window. I'd like to find a time, like around 9 am game time that suits almost everybody around the world.

Looseweed

I have arranged to rent out the Meke Blockade Practice Island the weekend of March 18th-19th. I would prefer a US friendly droptime, but can work within whatever schedule constraints others may have. Note I have my "prize issues" worked out and am planning on running the event.

I'm not sure how to edit the "preference" schedule, above. I'd prefer one of the following times: Noon pirate time Saturday, 6pm pirate time Saturday, 8am pirate time Sunday, or just before noon pirate time Sunday. I left my event post announcement open ended as far as schedule goes.
