Event Description
Participants present a brief plan for three separate weddings - one "traditional", one themed, and one budget. The entry would show outfits for the wedding's main participants, describe where it would be held, and outline the ceremony.
Judging
5 Judges. All would be in-game married or engaged, though only one half of any couple! Criteria would be originality, romance, appropriateness of costumes, Do-ability, and also clarity of presentation.
Prizes
Ideally, a choice of: - a pair of blank (uninscribed) wedding ring trinkets, - a hat in colours of your choice (no gold, not all black), - a sloop named the Well-planned Weddingfish, - a white/other colour laurel, - a bouquet of white roses.
Help Required
Volunteer Assistance
Judges would be needed. I would also seek assistance with the non-trinket prizes, particularly to make it an all-ocean event (otherwise it would have to be Doubloon only).
OM Assistance
Would be greatly appreciated with providing the wedding rings and bouquet trinkets (which seem the most appropriate prizes), and with renaming the sloop.
Workshop Coaching
Would be useful for putting the entries on an offsite website for judging (so the judges can't see the entrants' names). Also, some advice on how to instruct judges would be useful (those with experience will know best whether it's best for judges to discuss and decide between them, or give each entry points and see which gets most, or some other method...)
