Anyone may join Diamond Dust as a pirate. We're a public crew who's always recruiting. We aren't concerned with how many boats you own or your stats. If you have an officer badge and know how to run voyages on ships, you may be an Officer here. Time permitting, one of us may train you if you need training. If you're trustworthy and/or run trade but don't own a lot of ships, you can be an FO, and if you demonstrate good leadership qualities, you can be an SO here. The cabin person rank is used mostly for alts. or punishment.
We're an easy, laid-back crew of good hearties who help each other out. We share leadership responsibilities. We love producing our own rum and cannon balls, and always have a fleet of at least 100 ships at the ready, with plenty unlocked for general use. We enjoy running our own pillages, flotillas and participating in event (and real/sinking) blockades sometimes. Some of us are pillagers, some are traders, we run a foraging operation, and others are simply card sharps. We're the founders of our own flag, participate in ocean-wide politics and have a crew bank worth over 1 million poe. We've rotated leadership positions a few times but have great leadership as a result, and have had at least 6 other crews merge in to us. Feel free to contact any SO in this crew with any questions or concerns. To join, simply ask any officer who has an active badge to join. :)
