About

Charybdis, in Greek mythology, is a sea monster who swallows huge amounts of water three times a day and then expels them back out creating monstrous whirlpools that are the terror of sailing ships. Come terrorize with us!

Politics

My goal is to promote fun and form friendships in our crew and flag. I willingly listen to your ideas to help accomplish this. I encourage you to improve your skills, rise in rank, and recruit like-minded pirates to join us to help build a close-knit, successful crew and flag

Requirements to move up the pirate ladder are:

Cabin Person Join the Crew.

Pirate Become a subscriber and learn about the game. Yppedia is a good place to start.

Officer Be broad/distinguished in piratey stats (carp, bilge and sails), learn bnav with the crew and the navy and lead a sloop pillage under supervision of captain or SO.

Fleet Officer Have solid/respected stats (including gunning and nav), demonstrate trustworthiness as an officer and the ability to lead pillages on other types of ships. Acquire your own ship.

Senior Officer Have the desire and an established track-record of dedication to the crew and flag, a successful pillaging history and you will be invited at my discretion.

Captain My former captain expelled me from my beloved crew to encourage me to start this crew. If the king and captains of the flag feel you need this incentive, I may do the same for you!

Finances

The point of pillaging is to make poe and have fun doing it. Successful pillaging relies on cooperation and teamwork.
