Pass the Officer Exam. This is where you are temporarily given the title of Officer and then you lead a pillage under control of an FO, SO or the captain.

Loyalty to crew, you would have to stay in the crew for at least 4 weeks, still I don't think you've gotten my trust in that time, but who knows?

To own ship always helps, but is not a decideing factor.
