The crew was founded on 20 August 2005 by Silwen Branford and first mate, Figaro W. Duck.

We are in it for the booty. We must be honest. After all, birds do love the shiny objects. Think you might be cut out to be in our flock? If yer feathers be not yellow and your beak or bill saavy, consider the Buccaneer Birdies; we'll try our best to see your nest littered with gold. Merchant? Even better. Because we want our crewmates to be more than slave labor, we give them the same fair wages at all of our stalls that we do others, not to mention a nice flock discount (when applicable, etc). Willingness to help each other makes us strong, but not bending yer talons over yer comb does too.
