Black Hearts Company was a flag that was founded by the crew Omega on the 10th of March 2008.
The flag was founded on the grounds of letting the Crew Captains maintain control and say in flag affairs after being bit one too many times by inexperienced flags that fall under one man show ethics and policies. The flag is designed to be run and function by independent crews with alike or even similar goals but they do not necessarily have to be. If your crew is asked to join the flag, it is not because we want something from you. It is because we noticed that you operate as a single unit in the ocean and do it well independantly.

To all ye Swabbies, Swashbucklers, and Corsairs who read this, Greetings. The Black Hearts Company Flag Articles are what ye have stumbled upon.
Let it be known that these articles are set to establish fair guidelines for all pirates within our flag. Let it also be known that these articles are here to provide guidelines as to how this flag is to be run from this point in time until modifications seen fit by the voting body are imposed on it.
General Guidance
1.) New Crews Entering the Flag
1.a) Crews wishing to join the flag, should have their captain talk to a royal or the monarch.
1.b) Captain MUST have minimum of Solid in ALL piracy duties, and must have a minimum rating of Distinguished in all sea going puzzles (Minimum of Broad in Battle Navigation, Narrow in Navigating.
1.c) Crew MUST have at least ONE (1) officer that has at least Solid in ALL piracy duties.
1.d) Crews should follow a guideline of 20 battles a week.
1.e) New crews will join the flag on a probationary period of two weeks. After this time they will be considered part of the flag, and will be able to take their titled spots
1.f) Crews that do not meet these requirements and still wish to join will be subject to the majority vote from the voting body and will fall under a one month probationary period to meet standards.
1.1) Crews that fail to meet the above listed standards will be allowed to grow inside of the flag or remain at size under the following conditions:
1.1.a) Captain does not go dormant without notification
1.1.b) Crew shows potential growth through trading, pillaging, Flotilla Attacks, and/or Sea Monster Hunts.
